Jimmy was my fathers (John Reilly from America) second cousin. I only wish I could have met Jimmy in person. My dad told me how great Jimmy was and how much he loved his family. I'm hoping my dad and Jimmy are together in heaven. Prayers to the Johnstone family from Patricia Reilly.

Sending this from Brisbane, Australia.....My Dad Jack McDonald from Glasgow, Scotland was a huge Jimmy Johnstone fan and Glasgow Celtic mad. My Dad died of MND on 16th May 2002, tomorrow is his 12th Anniversary. Before my Dad died he was told that Jimmy Johnstone had been diagnosed with MND, my Dad was devastated that his hero had what he had. I thought it was fitting while I was paying tribute to my Dad on his tribute fund for tomorrow that I also pay tribute to his hero Jimmy Johnstone too. My Dad was a keen footballer, local football manager and football fanatic and I can imagine my Dad will be in his glory that he is up there with Jimmy Johnstone discussing tactic's. To Jimmy Johnstone the Legend, thank you for making my Dad love football so much. In loving memory to you both.....The daughter of Jack McDonald, Brisbane, Australia....
